Class Participation Behavior Active Listening Maintaining a seated position while actively listening to the teacher’s instruction during the lesson. This includes facing the teacher or instructional materials and showing visual attention. • Correct Response: Looking at the teacher or board while seated, nodding in response to teacher’s explanation.• Incorrect Response: Gazing out the window, turning around, or talking to peers while the teacher is talking.
Task Engagement Actively participating in class activities by completing assignments, responding to questions, or engaging in designated learning tasks. • Correct Response: Writing answers on the worksheet, raising hand to answer a question.• Incorrect Response: Doodling irrelevant images, leaving the seat without permission, playing with objects not related to the lesson.
