Participatory Behavior Attention behavior ■ Calls the teacher’s name and maintains eye contact throughout the observation interval.
■ Responds appropriately to the teacher’s question durind the interva.
■ Sits properly with hands and feet on the floor while attending class.
Task performance behavior ■ Independently completes class-related tasks with or without teacher assistance
■ Performs the assigned task for at least three minutes without stopping.
Disruptive Behavior Attention-seeking behavior ■ Continues to talk to oneself during class.
■ Listens to music through earphones without looking at the teacher.
■ Asks irrelevant questions to peers or the assistant teacher during class.
■ Touches pants or chews on paper during class.
Impulsive behavior ■ Points at or interrupts other students.
■ Stands up or walks around the classroom during instruction.
■ Leaves the seat to look for personal belongings during class.
■ Asks the teacher for unnecessary materials during instruction.
