Out-of-Seat Behavior Type A The participant briefly leaves the seat during the interval but returns to the seat by the observation point (every 2 minutes). 1. Reinforcement is withheld for the interval.
2. The interventionist provides no verbal prompt; instead, points to the First-Then card to deliver a visual cue only.
Out-of-Seat Behavior Type B The participant is out of the seat at the observation point.
1. Reinforcement is withheld for the interval.
2. The interventionist delivers a verbal prompt (e.g., “Please sit down.”) while simultaneously pointing to the First-Then card to re-prompt the target behavior.
